After our month break we are back, and so excited to be podcasting again.
Cornice hat from Painted Wooly Toppers which I made from Handspun Clare gave me from Snath Island Handspun it was so wonderful to work with and I love the FO
LittleAngel suggested a removable pompom and now I need to see if Clare the pompom queen has any advice on making great looking pompoms.
Finished August and September socks, both dyed by Em from Electric Carnation and landed up both being rainbows
Works in Progress
Halloween is the theme for the October Sally and Sally knit socks. The yarn this time was from Yarn Stash PMB and the fantastic bag by Wooldiaries Yarn Bling. I am making vanilla socks with my normal rounded toe and FLK heel
Sylvi has had a bit more progress but still a long way to go.
Pwani has not had any more progress, with all the kids and stuff my knitting slowed down. Rachel also did not finish her Liquorice hat in time for the #knitshareloveKAL so we are giving 3 of clares patterns away to viewers to say thank you – All Claimed
Kiddy Vertebrae is still in slow progress but I will help Rachel finish it
Rachel is knitting 2 pairs of socks, one orange pair in Elle sock wool that she dyed and one in turquoise that I got her from Electric Carnation for her birthday.
She continues to learn and practice her spinning.
I got a fantastic parcel from Susanne with all sorts of wonderful Canadian goodies in it. Including lovely yarn from Biscotte & Cie in Watermelon and the Blue, red and white for Yme.
The maple candy was amazing and I did give one to each person in the family.
Rachel got birthday yarn that she is knitting her socks in from me and fibre from Stellar Fibreworks in red, orange and yellow. Gina also gifted her a rolag to try.
Her dad sent her some Countess Ablaze in Geeks Like Rainbows too.
Any one of my hat patterns: Apple380 and YarnPoetry
One of Clare’s Tea Collection patterns: TanyaMarie
