I am working on my Log Cabin Blanket again I am following the instructions by Very Pink

Tau by Melanie Berg
Yarn Nurturing Fibres super twist sock yarn.

The Geeks birthday socks are Opal Hundertwasser and I now know that you really can’t do a FLK heel as an after thought heel – blush

I am making the Sylvi for Karin our swim coach and Alexander Technique teacher. I am using StyleCraft Special Aran with Wool but have not knitted on this pattern this week.

My sock yarn blanket makes a return too 🙂

Thank you to Julia and Diane for contributions to Rachel’s charity KAL
Thank you to Julia and Grammieknitterbug for the lovely patterns

I bought Wombles yarn from Den of Yarniquity which was all CaraBea’s fault.

Prizes from the Charity KAL were drawn in this episode.

There is a new Giveaway on my Ravelry group, come and tell me your favourite beach memory and stand to win a pattern from Pearl of Paradise

YarnderWoman is having a Pop cultures KAL – guess Wombles does not really count.

Thanks for watching
Happy Knitting

  1. My favourite beach is at Destin, Florida on the Emerald Coast. The sand is pure white and the water is Emerald. One day some college boys caught a sting ray. Unfortunately it was still alive but bleeding badly. The threw it back in where we were swimming. Not good as the blood attracts sharks. Needless to say we stopped swimming.
