I got my first Tattoo a few weeks ago and am totally in love with it. Quite a few of you commented on your own tattoos, so now I am curious I want to see them. Please share what you have where and why. Send the pics to firstname.lastname@example.org and I will add them here.
If you don’t have one but are thinking of it or have an idea, please feel free to share that too.
So here are the tattoos that you guys have been sharing:
The tattoo is three Kanji symbols in a modern font.
It’s over my heart, cos that’s where it binds me.
It means I will never break the promise I made.
It is unconditional and unbreakable.
It’s the Horde symbol from World Of Warcraft.
This is my tattoo of 2 geckos in a yin-yang design. I had it done in Thailand to celebrate my 30th birthday.
I got the first part of the tat (the main flower at the bottom) for my 21st birthday and didnt add anything else until early 2009…
The main ‘flower’ at the bottom was part of the original tat and represents me, the inside is a styalised ‘G’
I added two more flowers one representing Paul and one for Aaron.
I am going to add more when I have more kids.
I also want to go back and have some colour put in, like a burst of different colour from behind each flower…
An amazing guy that i grew up with was killed in a car accident nearly 2 years ago. on the first anniversary of his death i got this tattoo. we’re both gemini’s (born hours apart!!), hence the symbol. inside it are his initials and underneath his birth and death year.
Mischievous face in the middle of the sun, fits well with the
The ones on my back r kind of a tribute to my guitar and hence my music, I play a Gibson hummingbird and the scratchplate has a bird and vines and flowers, gonna get a butterfly added someday. Then the quote in the lower back section says “hope will not disappoint” which is a Godly concept which is stating that if hope comes from the right place, it won’t disappoint u. The SLG on the lower back tat was my 1st tattoo that I got when I was 19, it’s the initials of a song by Tori Amos called “strange little girl”, I added the vines and flowers later, that’s why it looks a little out of place.
The one on my wrist of the cross that says “In Your freedom I will live” is kind of depicting Jesus as a revolutionary and a freedom fighter, hence the red star in the middle.
