I am making us a Nature Table, I don’t really follow a Waldorf type home schooling approach but there are some things that I like and a nature table is one of them. It is just an area that they can have seasonal things and stuff they collect from nature, it can have a theme or just be random stuff, the possibilities are endless.

I was having a nap with Titus the other day and was in a light, almost awake state but asleep enough to dream. Does that make sense?
Anyway I was dreaming The Geek and I were on a camp somewhere and were desperately trying to be alone to have sex. It was not working, we were being interrupted a lot. Hmm no genius is needed for dream interpretation. Babies... Titus
Titus is 6 months if you can believe that. Saturday marked a half a year that he has been part of our family. He is a very dear little boy and I love watching his personality appear.
Babies are hard work no matter what but he has a very sunny nature most of the time to make up for his total dependence.
He is not skinny like the other 2 and was 8.5kg at 5m... I feel cheated
I have an unwelcome visitor. With Rachel Aunt Flow only came back after 15 months. With Caleb it was 11 months and now this time it is a day short of 6 months! What is going on with that. All this breast feeding my enormous giant baby and still not even a good 10 or 11 months without a monthly visitor. For most of us a period is rather a hassle but it... Life as a classroom
Part of the fun of homeschooling and particularly unschooling is that you are restricted to time tables and curriculums. Today we felled the big pine tree in our garden. It was really sad to have to cut it down but the pine needles make such a mess and the get into the gutters and clog the drains. The soil also gets very acidic from the pine needles. The... Life got busy and things seemed to fracture off into so many small piece that I never seemed to have time for anything let along blogging and I landed up with blogs all over the place. I had Pink Hair Girl and then started the Pinklets blog so that my ex would not have to read what they were doing in the middle... Homosexuality, School and Obedience
Do you ever land up thinking something and wonder how on earth you got onto that train of thought? Today was one of those days. I heard a news bulletin about a columnist, now foreign representative, calling homosexual people dogs and pigs. I thought why we always equate insulting someone with likening them to animals? Animal in most cases behave a hell of a...
Day 18 → Your views on gay marriage.
Okay this one is easy. I see no reason why anyone can not marry whoever the hell they like. Heck straight people mess up the institution of marriage plenty so I can’t see why we should have a monopoly on it. I am not religious and so for me people should be able to show and celebrate their love in anyway they like.
I do not even mind if my kids turn...
How to make a Halloween wreath
A boer may make a plan but they have nothing on Pinky!
I am interjecting in all my narcissistic droning to post some pics of our Halloween news
We decided rather last minute to have a Halloween/housewarming party on Saturday. So this week we have been rather busy making all the preparations and finding all the things we needed.
I saw this picture and wanted...
